Applying for Scholarships
Applying for scholarships can be an involved process, with deadlines, paperwork, and essays. Additionally, there are many different scholarships available, so it can be difficult to know where to start. This workshop provides an overview of the scholarship application process.
Career Exploration
Not sure of a career choice? We can help you explore a variety of careers in many different industries. You may even consider a career in healthcare that offers a wide range of job opportunities that are in high demand.
College 101
This workshop is designed for new college students of all ages and explores the basics of pursuing an education beyond high school.
Do I Need to File a Tax Return?
This workshop will increase participants understanding of documentation that is needed, to complete a Federal Income Tax Return. Participants will learn how to stay organized with tax return paperwork/documents and where to find free resources in the community who will assist with tax preparation.
FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
We walk individuals and families through the FAFSA application process and help explain how and why it is important. Equally important, we instruct people how to complete their FSA ID.
Financial Literacy
We offer workshops and how-to sessions on money management, dealing with debt, creating a checking/savings account, emergency fund development, identifying needs vs. wants, credit, employee benefits, and much more.
